Previous work experience, education and civic activities

• Michael previously founded of Proximo International, a consulting firm offering leading companies training solutions for addressing the impact of demographic changes on their workforce and customer base. Prior to that, in 2000, Michael co-founded Posip, a leading provider of Point of Sale (POS) and Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software across Latin America.
• Michael has also served as a consultant to leading banks, telecommunications companies and other utilities in Latin America, Europe and Africa through the International Finance Corporation. He was involved in structuring acquisitions, private equity placements and privatization transactions.
• Michael is actively involved in the following organizations: Statewide Hispanic Chamber of Commerce of New Jersey (advisor), the National Association of Hispanic Journalists (member and conference speaker).
• Michael has degrees in Finance and International Business from Georgetown University. He is a distinguished recipient of several awards including the Phillips Award for Entrepreneurship.
